Ron Davis
Ron is a retired Navy musician, unit leader & staff arranger, now living in Folsom, CA. He was a music copyist for the Tower of Power horns and Don Ellis, as well as contributing composer for the Don Ellis Orchestra and arranger for Mic Gillette. In 1977, he studied arranging with Hank Levy and played trumpet on his band at the Stan Kenton Clinic in Sacramento, CA. He currently leads a swing dance band, a Rat Pack group, a brass 4tet and is a Live Music Wedding DJ. He's also a caddie for the PGA tour for Pro-Ams on the West Coast & Hawaii.
